Can I get extra Flip-Ups?
Yes! Extra Flip-Ups are available 10 to a pack. Do I need an Add-On Pack right away?
Unless you are planning on assembling many centuries worth of pages right away, you do not need an Add-On Pack to start. Most people begin with the Starter Pack, then can order an Add-On Pack when they’re ready.

Pages

What size are the pages?
The pages are 12" x 12".

Do I have to assemble all the pages at once?
No! There is no need to assemble pages before you’re ready for them! Build your timeline as you go – when you're ready for a century, simply insert it into the Timeline.

What if I mess up a page?
No problem. You can recreate your page, then the system allows you to remove the old one and insert the new one!

How many pages should I use per century?
As many or as few as you want! If you want to see the passing of time look consistent when you stretch out your Timeline, use the same number of pages for each century, usually 2 or 1. If you’re not concerned with that, you may want to use fewer pages for the early BC years, when there’s not as much recorded history, then use more pages for the "busier" centuries.

What if I need more space on a page?
If you have more information than space on a page, use the Flip-Ups! You will get 3 times the space per line.

How do I keep my information straight across 2 pages?
The pages are printed with light reference lines horizontally as well as vertically to help you line up all of your information.

What years do the date stickers cover?
The Date Stickers go from 4999 BC to 2025 AD.

Why are there fewer stickers for the early BC years?
There's not as much to put on your timeline! There is simply much less recorded history from the early BC years, so the dates are spread farther apart. You can still space them as close or as far apart as you wish on your pages.

What do the Category Stickers include?

The nine categories are:

Use

What ages would use Add-A-Century Timeline? Add-A-Century Timeline can be used from preschool to graduation. Your timeline will build and grow with your studies; you can see the story being woven together you go! Can I hang my Timeline on the wall?
Sure! Then when you’re done, simply fold it back up.

How can I store my Timeline?
You can fold up your Timeline and slip it onto a shelf, or put it into an oversize 3-ring binder with the tabs provided. You can purchase our Binder with 2 pockets for $10.75.

Images

Where do I get images?
Images for your Timeline are available right from the internet! Click on "images" on any search engine page (Google, Yahoo, Bing) and type in what or who you’re looking for. You will get pages of images from which to choose. Simply choose your image and copy it into a document (usually MS word or word perfect). Then you can make it as big or as small as you wish, print it, cut it out and glue it on!
